Immersive Learning Gaining New Ground
The L&D Summit
and Awards is the largest forum in the country for Learning and Development
professionals. It serves as a great platform for professionals to converse and
deliberate upon the current trends and the future of L&D effectively as
well as gain insights on a wide range of topics such as creating an integrated
ecosystem of learning, L&D in the gig economy, designing L&D for
lifelong learning etc. Myndscope was extremely privileged to be a recipient of
‘The Most Innovative Learning and Leadership Program’ of the year (2019).
Myndscope provides
innovative learning programs such as ‘Just GOlf For It’, a golf based
leadership program that enhances understanding of action, reflection, strategy

structure, skills and sustainability at work as well as ‘Adventure Leadership
Camp’ where soft adventure activities and management games are used to develop
leadership skills, conflict management, communication and team-wor
It was also an honor
for Myndscope Immersive Learning to be able to participate in this year’s
summit as one of the prominent speakers in a panel discussion on ‘L&D in
the Digital Era’. Our co-founder and lead coach, Mr.Afeef Ahmed was present as
a speaker in the panel discussion. We were able to talk about developing the
digitally connected workforce and making L&D a strategic lever for
business. The panel members discussed the impact of technology, abundant
information and the digital medium Some
insights put forth were as follows:
.
We can all agree that
there is information overload at all levels due to the sheer amount of
knowledge that is available in this digital era. Technology has made
information abundant but without effective management there are no benefits to
be attained. By creating an immersive environment where participants are
engaged wholly - mentally and physically - learning is a sure bet.
One aspect that
impacts learning outcomes is an employee’s learning aptitude. No matter how
immersive or hands on the trainings are, an employee with no desire to learn is
unlikely to take in any information. What is crucial is making an employee
understand that they have stakes in the trainings and that it can impact them
personally.
Overall, it was
wonderful being a part of this event, meeting like minded people, sharing
ideas, gaining insights and most importantly getting recognised for our
hardwork.
